Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member

ROLE DESCRIPTION:As a team member for Jessica Haukedahl State Farm, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful client relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.This is an entry level position for those that do not currently possess the insurance licenses. You would be given a timeline to earn your licenses while also working in our office and assisting the staff. After licenses are obtained you will receive a promotion and be eligible to earn commission as well. Candidate will be expected to start the licensing coursework before employment starts and the fees will be reimbursed by the Agent once state exams are passed and licenses are obtained.Grow your career as you better your community. Support the licensed staff team members while in training until licenses are obtained.  Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations.  QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred Experience managing client relationships is preferred Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening Dedicated to customer service Able to anticipate customer needs Able to effectively relate to a customer Enrolled in property and casualty courses or licenses already obtained BENEFITS: Salary plus commission/bonus Paid time off (vacation and personal/sick days) IRA Retirement Health insurance stipend  Growth potential/Opportunity for advancement within my office Licensing reimbursement  Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour My team's mission is to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams. We are located in Ashland, KY and help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including:  Auto insurance Home insurance Life insurance Retirement planning   State Farm agents are independent contractors who hire their own employees.
